Overview

Prayer Times ("the App") is developed by Daniel Vilela. This privacy policy explains how the App handles your information.

Data Collection

The App collects the following data locally on your device only:

• Location data: Your GPS coordinates are used to calculate accurate prayer times and Qibla direction. Location data is processed on-device and is never transmitted to any server.
• User preferences: Your chosen calculation method and Asr juristic school are stored locally on your device using device storage.

Data We Do NOT Collect

• We do not collect personal information (name, email, phone number)
• We do not track your usage or behavior
• We do not use analytics or tracking SDKs
• We do not serve advertisements
• We do not transmit any data to external servers
• We do not share any data with third parties

Third-Party Services

The App does not use any third-party services, analytics, or advertising frameworks. All calculations are performed locally on your device using astronomical algorithms.

Permissions

• Location: Required to determine your position for prayer time calculations and Qibla direction. You can revoke this permission at any time in your device settings.
• Notifications: Optional. Used to alert you when prayer times arrive. You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings.

Data Storage

All data is stored locally on your device. Uninstalling the App removes all stored data.

Children's Privacy

The App does not knowingly collect any data from children under 13. Since no personal data is collected from any user, there is no risk to children's privacy.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
